This morning the dingy by the name: Stranded Nakeds Dink was washed ashore on the rocks next to our dock. If you have lost your dingy and want to pick it up head straight south of the north Man-O-War channel until you come to our dock. Our dock is the second dock north of the ferry crossing beach on the Marsh Harbour shoreline. There is a protected row of rocks around part of the dock.
this dingy is pretty rough and full of water. The life jacket is still floating.
Looks like it had a rough time last night

That dinghy was washed up on Crossing Beach at the Ferry Dock in MH for MONTHS!
Left messages all over GTC where Stranded Naked was, and nobody came for it--I guess it floated off on the full moon tide awhile back...

Looks like it had a rough time last night Dinghy it ain't. in addition to being a derelict, it is the remanents of a 15' power skiff with outboard removed.
it's a wreck to be sure but it's full of foam and fibreglass and it's not at all biodegradable, maybe not even sinkable, unless it is filled full of rocks and a sand barge runs it over.
local knowledge has it that it was used for conching by one Brucie MCIntosh of Dundas Town before he abandoned it in a less than responsible manner.

That is definately the boat. The bow is sunk and stern still floating. Don't know what to do with it since I don't have a boat to tow it to the dump. If it breaks loose again in will be a very bad hazard on the sea of abaco

Hey Folks,
This little boat was sold to "Black Tip” ten years ago by Stranded Naked. I am the owner of the Stranded Naked the houseboat in Black Sound, Green Turtle Cay. The Stranded Naked dink was in Marsh Harbor for years after I sold it and I do not know what has happened recently with this boat. I should have taken the name (Stranded Naked Dink) off of the boat when I sold it. I do not condone leaving any trash in the Sea of Abaco. If this boat was not going to be used, it should have been disposed of in a proper manner.
I hope to see all of you at the Cheeseburger Beach Party on July 3, 2006. FIDDLE CAY We will have 1000 Free Cheeseburgers, 100 pounds of Fries, 100 gallons of Margaritas and 100 gallons of Boat Drinks…Come and enjoy the free fun and the beginning of a great two weeks of sailing in the Abaco’s racing sailboats and consuming large sums of local food and drinks.

If it breaks loose again in will be a very bad hazard on the sea of abacoif boat could be towed to a ramp it could be pulled out of the water on a boat trailer and then hauled to the dump. mission accomplished.
this is a worthwhile project.
are there volunteers who could offer a boat to tow SND to ramp or boat trailer for hauling SND to dump??
and then the Sea of Abaco will be free of at least this specific navigational hazard, eh?
