I've posted a couple of times already, but i want to formally introduce myself.
My name is Jeremy from San Antonio, Texas and I will be married on June 10th in Palm Beach, FL to Tina. We'll be headed to Elbow Cay for our honeymoon the week of the 11th. I have been to Bimini, but never the Abacos, although I have spent countless hours dreaming of being there, and even have a few Nippers and Green Turtle Club shirts..lol. Tina has been many times with her family while growing up. My inlaws will be staying in Marsh Harbour while we're there so we can fish, snorkel, etc. together. I know, sounds weird, but we're not 21 so being around other folks that are interested in what we're interested in sounds like more fun to me.
Anyways, we'll be staying at the Gully's Nest http://seagullcottages.com/cottages.html
Just wondering if anybody has stayed there and what you thought of the place?
Look for us on the "Tipsy Turtle"...
Good day,
You will love Gully's nest, beautiful house, pool, and grounds.
The owners - Robert, and Karen Lowe are some of the best people you will ever have the chance to meet
The house also has a large dock, with cleaning station, and if you are real nice you can get some fishing tips from Robert - the best fisherman you will ever know.
If you have any specific questions - just let me know.

Thanks R! If anybody has pics I'd love to see some more of the place, other than on their site. Just daydreaming today.

Hey Bevo, I think we are renting Gully's nest right after you, June 22. The owner Karen has been very nice and has answered quite a few questions. i asked if she had any other pics and she sent me some of the outside and the dock, those made a big difference to me, it looks fantastic. we are renting their 20' boat for most of the time and then using just the 13' for the rest. I can't wait. do you have any other info?

The place looks very nice ...just wish they had some pics of the inside...I would not worry the place looks well taken care of...Congratulations....say hello to Tina...Nothing sounds weird...after some of my postings and some others I have read on this site....Abaco is not as big as Texas though
Good day,
I can tell you that the place is spotless;
The kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances, and a breakfast bar.
There is a dinning room table that will seat 6, a nice couch, coffee table, and comfortable chair in the living room. Almost forgot the VHF, and stereo.
The porch is screened-in, has a little table with 4 chairs for breakfast or drinks, and a hammock for lounging. A charcoal grill is right at the bottom of the stairs to the porch.
The pool is 20 feet from the porch in a perfectly manicured yard full of citrus trees.
It is about 150 feet from the house to the large lighted dock.
Harbors Edge,or Captain Jacks are about a 5 minute idle down the creek.
Hope this helps,
R.

RI Blues,
We're taking the boat as well.. It's in good hands! If you have some more pics could you email them to me? Seems like it take a few weeks before the emails are answered and I'm just dreamin' of being there..lol
Another question, is the water at the dock deep enough to handle a 35' Cabo?
Thanks,
Jeremy

You will love it. We stayed there twice, and everything was perfect. They even have a water-maker. Karen and Robert are excellent hosts. Tip
