View Full Version : Great Recommendations
Just returned from a great trip to Lubber's Quarter's. We stayed at watercolours cottages. Owner/operators Mark & Patti Gonsalves were great to deal with. They were very accomodating and helpful. Mark is also an accomplished seaman and was very helpful with boating tips. It was nice to deal with genuine good-hearted folk. The cottage we stayed at (pineapple )is set in beautiful gardens on the water. We loved being able to come and go as we please with our boat from Island Marine . Lori was very helpful with the local navigational concerns. I also had a GREAT diving experience w/ above and below abaco Diving, Above and Below Abaco. Sean, Kay, & Christian were all great to deal with. Very easy going yet concerned with safety and comfort. Kay's diving experience and knowledge was reassuring. My dive on the Towers @ Fowl Kay is one of my best to date. I loved swimming around w/ that 6' reef shark!
All-in-all. A GREAT vacation. Will do it again

Ed, Glad to hear you had a great time but we abacoholics NEED photos! Any chance you can post some? I'd especially love to see some of Pineapple Cottage at Watercolours, we're staying there in May. Sounds like it is a beautiful place with great hosts.

TinaDaGoose (http://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/member.php?u=2702) I am so glad you asked for photos. I was so tempted last night when L0NG L00K 2 (http://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/member.php?u=1459) and island daze (http://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/member.php?u=333) where teasing us because they were already in Abaco, sitting in their hammock and on their dock, to ask for pics but I thought I might be bordering on relentless.http://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif But since you ask I'll join in Pics please!

Abacomah, why would you be afraid to ask? You are always posting photos! BTW, how do you manage to get to Abaco so often? You are one lucky girl!
Ed, we're still waiting...
Sorry I just couldn't resist!

Isn't it an obligation to post photos when discussing a recent trip? :)
