Abacomah, you're killin' me! How the heck do you get to Abaco once every month?

The good news is, for us stuck on the mainland, you'll be posting lots of photos!

I'm jealous but very happy for ya!

I'm with Tina? How do you and AbacoWilly get down there so frequently? I was trying to get down there around the same time. I may have to see about going in February instead. Will see how it goes. I also book last minute as well.Off peak you can get some good deals that way. If I don't get down there I know you will post plenty of photos to make us feel like we are there.

is a pic of clouds ok????Any Pic is OK in my book.

Last year and a couple of years before that we just got down there once a year. Prior to that we would go 3+ times a year.

We decided to try our best to get down there more often since we love it so. Prior to November my last trip was in March for Barefoot Man so it seems like once a month but its' not.

Also helps to have four ADULT children. Youngest is eighteen and (cross my fingers) he is maturing out of his "let me find myself while I get into trouble stage".

We would cringe everytime we would get a phone call from our children 'cause we figured it was the youngest one into something. November trip we were in the Lauderdale airport coming home and we called our oldest. He said "Mom have you talked to D?" My heart dropped. He told me everything was OK but there had been an accident. Now get this, he is driving in Irmo, one of the smaller towns outside of Columbia just east of Chapin where we live. A guy on a bicycle pulls out in front of him and he hits the end of the bike. The guy is OK. Highway Patrolman just happened to be across the street and saw the whole thing (luck going D way for a change). Picture this, the guy jumps the curve out of the Kroger parking lot on his bike. On his handle bars he had a twelve pak of beer with spewed all over the road AND a small bottle of liquor fell out of his pocket. He did have a bag of groceries too. Guess what he went looking for while he was getting up. Needless to say the officers insisted he be taken for care AND a alcohol blood level test!

In the summer while we were in Florida his car was totaled .... that one was his fault. Teenagers.... anyway "empty" nest and the flock is maturing ... that's why we can go more oftern now http://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

I tried to book it for Jan 4th so I would be in Abaco while I am keeping track of who's a Gator and who's a Buckeye but waiting two days on booking costs $400 more so we moved it out a week.....BUT I will still keep track of the football "agreement"

is a pic of clouds ok????Yes pics of clouds are okay as long as they are Abaco clouds. Thanks for giving us states folks a little bit of Abaco. Surprisingly it is an unseasonably 56 degrees here in New York. Just trying to hold our breath for when the snow will be coming.
