Regatta vs. Visit Question

We will be in Hope Town June 30th - July 7th. We do not rent a boat and hang out on the beaches instead. We are obviously used small crowds and quiet beach days.

My question is, with the Regatta ongoing, will the crowd be that much greater? Should we expect a busier than usual crowd on the beaches of Elbow Cay?

Regattas week is the busiest week of the entire year for the Abaco's. That being said, the crowds are still small compared with a place like Nassau.
The crowds tend to follow the regattas, and whatever island the regattas is at, that will be the most crowded for that day.
Seems like the bars/restaurants get the biggest crowds, as compared with the beaches!
