Will be arriving in Marsh and going to Treasure. 8 of us. Can anyone recommend a good cab driver with a large, clean van? Will need to make a stop for supplies.
Also, does anyone know if you can buy bait for fishing in town and if so where, what kind and how much$$?

Victor Russell is cab # 1. He has been driving for over 40 years- great guy- dependable. His van has a/c and he( as are all of the cabbies) will wait in the van for you to stop for food/liquor, etc.

From my last update........

With our (Auto rental) agency being closed (I had confirmed only two days prior), we took a Taxi to the G.T. Ferry Dock ($75). To our surprise our driver was none other than Taxi No.1, Mr. Victor Russell. He informed us of having the first taxi license in Abaco and is 82 years old.

I inquired "will we make the 2:30 ferry?" "I'll try" was the reply and at times we were hitting 80 mph!........Well we made it in time - just. The Ferry was waiting as Victor radioed ahead.

In Treasure, we love Sidney Hart.....hope he's still driving. It's been a couple years since we got over....we'll be back in the Spring '08 ! Sidney has went out of his way to accomodate us many times in the last..brought us fresh lobster, loaned us his personal grill one evening etc...
