We are Seattle boaters coming to Marsh Harbour July 15-22(4 adults 2 kids 14 &11 yrs). Looking for input/experiences/suggestions. We plan to cruise the Treasure and Green Turtle Cay areas. From there we are open and wondering about Islands/Harbours of interest based somewhat on prevailing winds(calm overnite waters) this time of year. kimw

If you are looking for something to do on land, Marsh Harbour has a Junkanoo every Friday the month of June and July, not sure if they have it in August, but it is in Goombay Park from 6-11pm with music, live entertainment, native foods, and booths with folks selling diffferent items. It's nice, fun, different. You will need a car or taxi to get there. Enjoy your trip.

Type of boat and your tastes will determine alot. Sounds like you are chartering a sailboat out of Marsh Harbour? If your intinerary is something like Marsh Harbour - Treasure - Green Turtle - Return. I'd a consider a visit to Hopetown before heading to Treasure (our fav, love the beach) with a snorkle stop at Fowl Cay Preserve, and then on to Green Turtle. In the GTC area is Nunjack Cay also worth a visit. Theres lots more but since you only have a week you'll either have to extend your visit, or start planning your next trip.
