I am sure this has been asked a hundred times, but....
I am getting reception on my cell phone from "BTC". I have a regular Cingular plan in the U.S.
Anyone know what the fees are to use my cell phone while I am in the Abacos? I'm sure it's pretty steep.

I have Cingular. It's $2.50 a minute. Even if you didn't answer the call. Explanation: I had my phone on one morning, did not receive any calls, voice messages, or missed calls and Cingular Said I had three calls doesn't matter whether they went through or not . Leave your phone off unless you need to use it. Cingular says if the phone is off and you receive a call you will not be charged for that call, but of course you will be charged when you call and access your voice mail. Still it is worth having your phone there!

We were in the Abacos in May and were charged $1.99 per minute on Cingular. We found the service to be reliable too. Just beware, those minutes can quickly add up!
