Howdy from Barefoot Bay on Elbow Key. Just wanted to let you know we almost did not get here. Cheaptickets.com and Bahama Air did not communicate to confirm our 14 seats to arrive on Saturday so we had to fight hard to get here. Cheap tickets ended up paying for four hotel rooms at the Radisson. We were in West Palm Beach all Saturday evening. Not a bad place to lay over but would have rather been in the Bahamas. If you get caught there go to the town center (city Place) restaurant area and have a one pound burger at Cheeburger, Cheeburger. Weather has been great. Nippers on Sunday and lots of sun on Monday and Tuesday. Groceries are expensive. Chips are $5.00 a bag and beer (all kinds) is $47-$50 a case. We have been drinking an excessive amount of beer, but what the heck, its vacation. Only $$, make some more tomorrow. Island appears to be a little more built up but still in Paradise. A few more days to go.
