Day trip to Harbour Island from Treasure Cay

We will be in TC for the first time with 2 other families. A total of 11 people. I would like to take my friends over to Harbour Island ... possibly a day trip? Is this something thats doable? Perhaps some kind of ferry to take us over there? If anyone could give me information on this I would greatly appreciate! We are so looking forward to this vacation.

The only feasible way to do this as a day trip would be by charter aircraft. There are a couple of operators in Marsh Harbour -- Cherokee Air is the name of one.

Harbour Island is not in the same chain of islands (Abaco) as Treasure Cay. Not sure how far south (south-east) of TC it is but not a day trip without a large expense. Why not go to Green Turtle cay or Guana Cay which are local to Treasure Cay?

I agree with Steamboat. I chartered a RT plane to North Eleuthera from Marsh Harbour on Abaco Air last year for five people to entertain at the Island Roots Heritage Festival in Green Turtle Cay and it cost $1800.

There are so many places to explore on Abaco like Green Turtle Cay, Man O War Cay, Elbow Cay, a day with Lincoln down at Munjack Cay, watch them cast the bronze at Pete's Gallery in Little Harbour on Thursday, snorkeling, diving, fishing and so much more!!

for a day trip.. only by chartered plane. I have come from Harbour Island to Hope Town by private boat and I think it was around seven hours. There is no direct ferry from the Abacos to Harbour Island. There is a ferry service (which offers one day excursions) from Nassau to Harbour Island. It leaves around 8 int he morning and returns around seven at night.
