Here are a few pictures from last evening and this morning. It's raining off and on today; however, it is a bit cooler and still a beautiful day in Abacohttp://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif.
The Palm pod was closed last night and this is how it looks this morning.

Beautiful Mah, don't you just love the deck that overlooks the beach? It was one of my favorite places, to sit there and just relax.

Yes, the dog at Pineapples that you were holding is indeed a potcake. That little dog is just the sweetest little thing.
GuanaGuy, we stayed at the Dolphin Beach Resort for a week summer of 2001.
Abacosea, It was a very sweet dog. My daughter fell in love with it. On further examination of the picture, I think I may have been wrong about referring to it as a "him" :o

I'll keep an eye out for Potcakes.
JJ, I read on your trip report thread you used the Sony Cybershot 7.2. That's the one I have with me this trip and it is a great camera. Haven't tried the "beach scene" setting so I'll have to do that.
It takes videos too. What a great little pocket camera! Your trip report is great and pics are beautiful, especially those camera shy daughters and their friendhttp://coconuttelegraph.net/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif They are smiling in every picture. Their love of Abaco comes through in the shots!

how did you like the dolphin beach resort? when we went in 2005 we stayed at guana seaside which of course is no longer there.
Yes, we liked Dolphin Beach Resort. We stayed in their cottage called Crab Claw. The kids of course were much younger then and loved having the pool. I liked having the privacy of a cottage along with the amenities of a resort.
A lot of things are changing on Guana and I guess it will change even more dramatically over the coming years with all the development.
abacomah, I haven't tried the video on the camera yet. Let me know how that works. You definitely need to try the beach setting. It really brings out the blues in the sky and water. Where are you staying on Treasure? We stayed at the Resort and Marina but just for one night on either end of our vacation because we didn't have flights to match our dates we were renting on Green Turtle, but I jumped at the chance to stay in the Abacos a few extra days! The Resort was the only place I could find that would provide accomodations for less than 3 days. We enjoyed the location and the Coco Beach Bar but a place right on the Sea of Abaco would be nice.
