Hi all...first post here so be gentle ;) ... Just arrived back in the UK and apart from a couple of days, I had 2 lovely weeks in the Bahamas...
Planning my next trip and thinking about going to Abaco as I only got as far as Nassau and Freeport.
Can anyone tell me when the humidity and bug level drops, and a nice but reasonably priced place to stay.
Thinking of staying in the Marsh Harbour area as I would like to be near the bars and whatever life there is. Anyone have any photos?

Start with the yellow sidebar for places to stay. You will get a good variety of prices. Also search for trip reports.

There isn't a lot of "nightlife" but all the Cays have bars and restaurants. You may want to split your time between MH and Elbow or Guana Cay. MH doesn't really have any beaches.

June-Aug are the muggy months.
