Would anyone have a recommendation for a hotel in the vicinity of the Jacksonville airport?

I can't personally recommend a motel, since I've never stayed near the airport, but my boss, a pretty picky person, always stays at the Holiday Inn at the airport exit. He flies out of Jax a few times a year.

You may want to see if any of the hotels near the airport have a stay and fly option which may save you money on the airport car lot. We use these type hotels in Charlotte and Atlanta, stay the night before we fly out, leave the car at the hotel, use their shuttle service to airport, fly out, fly in, take shuttle to hotel, get car and drive home. Cost of the one night is generally less than parking for a week and certainly less than a hotel stay and then paying for parking at the airport or a park n' fly lot.
