I haven't been down for a few month and looking for a new place to stay. I have stayed at Marsh, MOW,GTK and Treasure. Any sugestions are welcome. I booked travel for a few days in early August on new service craig air out of jax due to the shorter drive. can't wait to hear feed back on the new service, also i called after i booked online and was offered a good discount if i wanted to travel in the next 2 weeks but, didn't have the time that early.
Looking forward to a relaxing trip and all input is welcome.

We always want to go to Green Turtle, but if we ever ventured away from there, I think I would like to try Lubbers Quarters or Elbow Cay.

If you want to go to Lubbers, google AbacoSeaSide website. It gives you a feel for what Lubbers is like if you've never been and offers a nice selection of cottages. We had two homes there and lived full time on Lubbers for 10 years. It is very peaceful and relaxing. However, a boat is necessary. There is no settlement and only one restaurant (a good one by the way --- Cracker P's). Lubbers is centrally located in what I call the "hub of Abaco" and minutes to Hope Town, White Sound and Marsh Harbour. You are also very close to snorkeling, diving and in 5 minutes you can be in the ocean through the Tilloo cut. This area will give you a whole new experience since you haven't stayed on Elbow or south. We loved it and get homesick for it all of the time. Where ever you go, try something new this time. Sam

We would recommend Guana Cay. It has miles of beautiful beaches, a choice of several lovely homes for rental, a grocery shop, gift shops, restaurants, and a community pool!
People are friendly there, and helpful. You would love it. It is our FAVORITE island, although they are all wonderful.

It's gooder on Guana! Well, I'm a tiny bit biased;)

We also love Lubbers-it's a special place- but if you like 'night life' you'd probably want to go to another cay. Also if you like to take early morning walks on the beach, Elbow or Guana would be a better choice.

Let us know what you decide!

Foreign visitors not allowed south of the Marsh Harbour airport round-about!!

(If I don't stop them now, word will get out and I'll have nowhere to roost.) ;-)

Sorry, Half. I forgot about that rule. Guess since we own property in Bahama Palm Shores we're exempt.

I seem to be the lone ranger suggesting hopetown! sandy beaches, lots of places to eat quaint houses, good surf on the Atlantic and calm Abaco seas for fishing snorkeling and sailing.
Go to VRBO and check out all the private homes for rent

Would it be too silly of me to mention the missing comma?

yep good thing you caught that.. who would want to eat a quaint house? But if it is from Hopetown it would probably be good!

Well, those houses do, kind of, look like gingerbread houses.

Did I use enough commas? :)

Thanks for the laughs!
