Abaco Board Introduction and Policies

Welcome to the Abaco Community Message Board. Here's the place to locate information about Abaco, announce events, make comments, and find friends. We encourage you to register: it’s easy, free, and there are no obligations or spam. Just click on Register in the white and blue box located below this introduction. Forum participants are asked to be polite, civil, and respectful of others. Please make sure your posts are relevant to Abaco. We also encourage you to check out Welcome to the Abaco Message Board; it’s a useful general overview, as well as providing help with problems related to registration, Board navigation, or posting a picture.

If you are new to the Board and need information about a specific topic, before you post your question, use the Search tool. You can find it in the white and blue box just below this Introduction. Click on Search, enter a key word or two, and posts containing those words will appear. Chances are the info you are looking for has already been covered. Here are a few key issues that we ask you to avoid:

• Religion and politics, both Bahamian and US,
• Rumors; please be sure you know what you are talking about.

• Unwarranted criticism of someone else’s post; do you really want to hurt or offend someone else, and will you be hurt or offended when the Moderator deletes your post?
• Extended personal communications; please use the “private message” function or direct email.
